ACRA, the Analytical Credit Rating Agency, is a credit rating agency based in Moscow, Russia, established in 2015 with Yekaterina Trofimova as its first chief executive. It was created as international rating agencies withdrew from the Russian market amid legislative changes and sanctions, and it was expected to become Russia's principal domestic ratings issuer, having issued more than 40 ratings by mid-2017. ACRA maintains an ACRA Financial Stress Index tracking financial crisis risk in Russia and Kazakhstan, and in 2024 it partnered with the Chinese agency CSCI Pengyuan to share methodologies and facilitate market access.
