Rating-Agentur Expert RA GmbH, operating as RAEX Europe, is a credit rating agency headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, founded in 2013 as a business unit of the international RAEX group. It was the first rating agency with Russian roots to be officially recognized by a European Union supervisory authority, and the European Securities and Markets Authority registered it as a credit rating agency effective 1 December 2015. The agency assigns credit ratings to financial institutions, insurance undertakings, non-financial companies and public finance issuers, as well as sovereign ratings for countries and regions.
