Spread Research

Spread Research is a French credit rating agency and independent credit research company founded in 2004 and based in Lyon, with a presence in London and Paris. In 2013 it became the first French credit rating agency certified by the European Securities and Markets Authority, allowing it to operate across Europe; before that certification only the European branches of Standard & Poor's, Moody's and Fitch Ratings held it in France. The company operates under an investor pays model rather than being paid by the companies it rates, and had 15 employees as of 2013.
