The Ministry of Planning and Finance, abbreviated MOPF and formerly known as the Ministry of Finance, administered Burma's monetary and fiscal policies together with national economic planning. It was later split into two separate bodies, the Ministry of Finance and Revenue and the Ministry of National Planning, Investment and Foreign Economic Relations.
