Development Bank of Namibia

The Development Bank of Namibia (DBN) is a state owned development bank established in 2004 and headquartered in Windhoek, mandated to promote and finance development in sectors of the economy that support development and the welfare of the citizens of Namibia. Owned by the Government of Namibia, it provides loans, equity partnerships, financial advisory services, and export and import financing, and by December 2011 held total assets exceeding 146 million dollars and shareholders equity of about 144.3 million dollars.
