The Islamic Republic Development Bank is an Iranian government bank planned in 2023 and scheduled to open by 2024, formed by merging five existing banks: Bank Keshavarzi, Bank Industry and Mining, Bank Export Development, Bank Cooperative Development and Bank Maskan. It is intended to support jobs, industry and infrastructure in smaller Iranian towns and cities, and it operates under the management of the Central Bank of Iran as part of the seventh five year development program of Iran.
