VEB.RF

VEB.RF is a Russian state development corporation focused on investment activity, tracing its origins to the Foreign Trade Bank of the USSR, renamed Vnesheconombank in 1988 and reorganized after the dissolution of the Soviet Union, restructured as a development bank in 2007, and rebranded VEB.RF in 2018. Operating under the federal law On the State Development Corporation VEB.RF, it has financed more than 300 projects, coordinates the development institution ecosystem of Russia, supports major public-private partnership projects with investment thresholds of 3 billion rubles or more as directed by the President of Russia, and serves as a methodological center for environmental, social, and governance considerations and green finance.
