Timor-Leste Petroleum Fund

The Timor-Leste Petroleum Fund is a sovereign wealth fund that receives surplus revenues from East Timor's petroleum and gas operations. Established in 2005 with an opening balance of 205 million US dollars, it had grown to approximately 18.5 billion US dollars in assets under management by December 2021. The fund adheres to the Santiago Principles and is a member of the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds, and ranked seventh among 64 global sovereign wealth funds for transparency in a 2019 assessment.
