Korea Investment Corporation

Korea Investment Corporation (KIC) is a sovereign wealth fund established by the government of South Korea, founded on July 1, 2005 and headquartered in Seoul. It manages assets contributed by the South Korean government, the Bank of Korea and other public institutions under the National Finance Act, with a mission to preserve and enhance the country's long-term purchasing power through investment in international financial markets. As of December 2024 it managed 206.5 billion US dollars in assets and employed 341 people.
