Centre d'Etudes Prospectives et d'Informations Internationales

The Centre d'Etudes Prospectives et d'Informations Internationales (CEPII), whose name means Centre for Prospective Studies and International Information, is a French institute for research in international economics. It is government-funded and sits within the Office of the Prime Minister, in a network coordinated by France Strategie; its roots trace to a 1963 research group founded by Michel Courcier that was given permanent government status in 1978, and it now fields a team of roughly 30 economists working on factor markets and growth, international financial systems, European Union economics, and international trade models.
