CEPII

CEPII, the Centre d'Etudes Prospectives et d'Informations Internationales, is a French institute for research in international economics that is government funded and operates within a network coordinated by France Strategie under the Office of the Prime Minister. It was established in 1978 when Prime Minister Raymond Barre reorganized the earlier body GEPI, expanding its resources and relocating it within the machinery of government. The institute researches factor markets and growth, the international financial and monetary system, the European Union economy, and international trade models, and is based in Paris.
