Institute of Economic Growth

The Institute of Economic Growth (IEG) is an autonomous, multidisciplinary Indian centre for advanced research and training, employing roughly two dozen social scientists, including economists, demographers and sociologists, who study questions of social and policy significance. It trains officers of the Indian Economic Service and has hosted international scholars, including Nobel laureates, as visiting fellows.
