The KOF Index of Globalisation measures the degree of globalization of 122 countries, developed by Axel Dreher at the Konjunkturforschungsstelle of ETH Zurich in Switzerland, first published in 2002 with updated versions released in 2017 and 2018. The index is built on three principal dimensions, economic, political, and social, and unlike the rival Maastricht Globalisation Index it excludes environmental factors from its assessment.
