The Corporate Council on Africa is a nonprofit, membership-based trade association founded in 1993 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., built to strengthen commercial relationships between the United States and African countries. Its more than 180 member companies account for roughly 85 percent of total United States private-sector investment in Africa, and the council promotes business and investment across sectors including agribusiness, energy, infrastructure, security, healthcare, and telecommunications.
