Trade Union Advisory Committee to the OECD

The Trade Union Advisory Committee to the OECD, known as TUAC, is the interface between the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and organised labour, founded in 1948 to represent trade union interests in OECD policy discussions on economic policy, job protection, financial regulation and income inequality. It represents around sixty million workers through 59 affiliated trade union centres across 32 OECD member countries plus five associate members, and it coordinates trade union input to OECD committees and ministerial meetings as well as to G7 and G20 summits alongside the International Trade Union Confederation.
