The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) is a stock exchange based in the port city of Chittagong, Bangladesh, one of the country's two securities markets alongside the Dhaka Stock Exchange. Authorized on February 12, 1995 and formally inaugurated on November 4, 1995, it is owned and operated by Chittagong Stock Exchange PLC, trades in Bangladeshi taka, and as of 2020 listed about 250 companies with a market capitalization of roughly 38.1 billion US dollars, tracking performance through indices including the CSE30, CSCX, CASPI, CSI and CSE50.
