CICOPA, the International Organisation of Cooperatives in Industry and Services, is a sectoral branch of the International Cooperative Alliance founded in 1947 and headquartered in Brussels. It represents about 46 national and regional cooperative federations and support organizations active in some 30 countries, promoting worker, social and producer cooperatives in industry and services, and it operates through two regional bodies, CECOP for Europe and CICOPA Americas, the latter covering North America and Mercosur sub-regions.
