Stock Exchanges and Market Infrastructure

The Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) is a Chinese futures exchange headquartered in Dalian, Liaoning province, established on February 28, 1993 as a non-profit, self-regulating membership organization under the oversight of the China Securities Regulatory Commission. It offers futures contracts on agricultural and industrial commodities including corn, soybeans, soybean meal and oil, palm oil, and petrochemicals such as polyethylene and polypropylene. DCE is one of three national-level futures exchanges that survived China's market rectifications of the 1990s, alongside the Shanghai Futures Exchange and Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange, and it ranks as the world's second-largest agricultural futures exchange by market share.
