Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges

The Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges is a non profit international organization for cooperation among capital markets in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia. It was founded on May 16, 1995, in Istanbul with 12 founding members, and it now has 30 members, including stock exchanges, post trade institutions, dealer associations and regional federations from 29 countries. Its headquarters has since relocated to Yerevan, Armenia. Its stated purpose is to contribute to the cooperation, development, support and promotion of capital markets across the Eurasian region, and it maintains partnerships with bodies including the African Securities Exchanges Association and the United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative.
