GIC Private Limited

GIC Private Limited, formerly the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation, is a Singaporean sovereign wealth fund that manages a portion of the country's foreign reserves, founded on May 22, 1981 to preserve and enhance their international purchasing power with an aim of achieving long-term returns above global inflation over a twenty-year investment horizon. Headquartered in Singapore with eleven global offices, it invests across developed and emerging market equities, fixed income, private equity, infrastructure and real estate, managing roughly eighty percent of its portfolio in-house. GIC operates alongside Temasek Holdings and the Monetary Authority of Singapore as one of three institutions managing Singapore's national reserves.
