The Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) is a Vietnamese stock exchange headquartered in Hanoi, originally established as the Hanoi Securities Trading Center on March 8, 2005 and restructured into its present form on June 24, 2009. A state-owned entity under Vietnam's Ministry of Finance that became a subsidiary of the Vietnam Stock Exchange in 2020, it operates government and corporate bond markets, an unlisted public companies market, and a derivatives market established in 2017, and has served primarily as Vietnam's bond exchange since 2020 after most stock trading moved to the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange.
