Deposit Insurance of Vietnam

Deposit Insurance of Vietnam (Bao hiem tien gui Viet Nam, DIV) is Vietnam's national deposit insurance organization, established in 1999 and operating under the country's Deposit Insurance Law. It insures deposits held at participating member institutions and works to protect depositors and maintain public trust in Vietnam's banking system, serving both individual depositors and the financial institutions that participate in its deposit insurance scheme.
