Built to increase financial connectivity among Central Asia, China, Russia and the Arab world and operating in English as its official language, it provides its own regulatory framework and courts for banking, capital markets, Islamic finance, fintech and asset management activity conducted within its jurisdiction, including the activity of the Astana International Exchange that operates inside it.
