Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting

The Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting, known as ISAR, is an expert body established in 1982 by the United Nations Economic and Social Council and hosted by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development in Geneva. It works to advance corporate transparency and accounting standards in support of investment and economic development, holding annual sessions and workshops that bring together member states, regulators, academics, and industry representatives to develop good-practice guidance on accounting and reporting.
