University-Affiliated Economic Research Centers

This group collects the Research and Policy Institutions subcategory's members whose own description states its defining character as being housed at, operated by or organizationally part of a named university or university-style academic society, with no narrower policy focus stated as primary: the Becker Friedman Institute at the University of Chicago, the Cowles Foundation at Yale, and comparable centers at the London School of Economics, Bocconi University and the Max Planck Society among others. It is kept apart from every subject-focused group here, each reserved for a member whose own description names monetary, fiscal, labor, trade or financial-markets research as its own defining mission ahead of its university housing.
