American Investment Council

The American Investment Council, formerly known as the Private Equity Growth Capital Council, is a lobbying, advocacy, and research organization based in Washington, D.C. It was founded by a consortium of private equity firms in February 2007 to defend and promote the private equity and growth capital investment industry before lawmakers and the public. Its membership includes some of the world's largest private equity firms.
