The Astana International Exchange (AIX) is a stock exchange based in Astana, Kazakhstan, operating within the Astana International Financial Centre and regulated by the Astana Financial Services Authority. Established in 2017 to develop the public equity and debt capital markets of Kazakhstan and the wider Central Asian region, it held its first trading session on November 14, 2018. Its shareholders include the Astana International Financial Centre itself, Goldman Sachs, the Shanghai Stock Exchange, and China's Silk Road Fund.
