International Cotton Advisory Committee

The International Cotton Advisory Committee is an association of the governments of cotton producing, consuming and trading countries that serves as the international commodity body for cotton and cotton textiles, founded in September 1939 at an International Cotton Meeting in Washington, D.C. It advocates for cotton producing nations, publishes research and technical studies on the cotton sector and convenes annual plenary sessions of its member governments, which as of its most recent count number 29 states and the European Union; it is headquartered in Washington, D.C. and operates in English, French and Spanish.
