National Treasuries and Fiscal Authorities

National government departments responsible for a country's own public finances, taxation and fiscal policy, including HM Treasury and the United States Department of the Treasury. Belongs here: any institution whose primary function is managing a single national government's own budget, debt issuance or fiscal policy. Does not belong here: central banks, which set monetary rather than fiscal policy even where the two work closely together, grouped under Central Banks and Monetary Authorities.
