Central Banks of Africa

This group collects the Central Banks and Monetary Authorities subcategory's members whose issuing country lies in Africa, from the long-established national banks of Egypt and South Africa to the newest post-independence and post-conflict monetary authorities such as the Bank of South Sudan. It covers every African central bank and national monetary authority that issues or administers its own country's own currency rather than a currency shared with other states, which is kept apart in Multinational and Currency Union Monetary Authorities.
